Accommodation types
Student residence
A room in a building of other students, with shared kitchens or a canteen and communal spaces. Easy to arrange, sociable, and good if meeting people quickly matters more to you than privacy.
Private apartment
Your own flat, alone or with people you choose. The most independence and the most privacy, and the option that asks most of your own Spanish and organisation.
Shared apartment
A room in a flat shared with other students or young professionals. A middle path between a residence and living alone, and the most common choice for longer stays.
