About Little Spanish Star

A local partner in Valencia for people who want to learn Spanish and actually live here while they do it.

Ruby's story

Ruby moved with her family from New Zealand to Spain. Like most people who arrive without the language, she found that everyday life in a new country is a series of small obstacles — appointments, neighbours, forms, conversations that stop early.

She learned Spanish at a language school here in Valencia. That is what changed things. It helped her settle in, make friends and enjoy the city rather than simply manage it. That personal experience is the reason Little Spanish Star exists.

Ruby is currently studying for a Master's degree in Business. Her aim with Little Spanish Star is to help more people, particularly Chinese-speaking students, discover Valencia and experience life in Spain the way she was able to.

Hola! I'm Ruby

How we work

We tell you what we know

If something is not confirmed, we say so. We would rather give you a shorter answer than a confident one that turns out to be wrong.

We are local

We live in Valencia. When you ask what a neighbourhood is like or how far something really is, the answer comes from here.

We speak your language

The site is available in seven languages, and you can reach us on the channels you already use — WhatsApp, WeChat, RedNote or email.

We stay after you land

Arriving is the beginning, not the end. Support carries on once you are here, within whatever your program and arrangements cover.

Part of the Little Star family

Little Spanish Star belongs to the same family as Little Mandarin Star and Little English Star. The shared idea is simple: language learning should open a door to a place and its people, not just to a certificate.

What we don't do

We do not run language courses, issue course documentation, guarantee visa outcomes or promise school admission. Those things belong to the schools and the relevant authorities, and we will always point you to them.
